At Black Hub Media, we are proud to celebrate the visionary journey of our client, Stephanie Karikari—a trailblazing entrepreneur, media personality, and now, a rising force in African cinema.

Stephanie’s career has always been about bold moves and purposeful impact. From being crowned Miss Ghana 2010 to earning global recognition at Miss World 2011 as Beauty with a Purpose, she has consistently used her platform to uplift, inspire, and drive change.
As the founder of Safari Cosmetics and host of the SK Guide Show on Akwaaba Magic, Stephanie has built a multifaceted career that blends beauty, business, and media with elegance and intention. Her latest venture marks an exciting evolution—her debut as a film producer with the socially conscious film, GEM.
GEM confronts the devastating impact of galamsey—the illegal mining practice that continues to endanger communities and the environment in Ghana. More than a film, GEM is a bold statement—a powerful narrative that shines a light on the systemic challenges faced by young people and the societal forces that shape their choices.
“Production was always going to be a part of my journey in the media space,” Stephanie shares. “Creating is what I do—I love being hands-on with my work. GEM speaks to my passion for telling impactful stories that matter.”
At Black Hub Media, we are honoured to support Stephanie as she continues to carve new paths with purpose, courage, and authenticity. From the stage to the screen, she remains a beacon of excellence, and with GEM, she’s not just telling stories, she’s changing the narrative.
